Our aim is for all our campers to have a truly enjoyable experience during their stay with us.
The purpose of our terms & conditions is to help build a shared understanding for all guests, to encourage respect for their fellow campers and campsite staff so that everyone can enjoy this beautiful, peaceful space together.
Admission
All bookings are for short-term holidays only and must be secured by an adult over the age of 18. The named booker must be a part of, and responsible for, the holiday party.
We are unable to hold provisional bookings for longer than 4hours. Full payment will secure your booking.
Bookings are non-transferable.
Amendments can be made to your booking up to 2 weeks prior to your arrival subject to availability.
We do not offer refunds/discounts for inclement weather, late arrivals or early departures. If you choose to cancel your holiday refunds can only be offered in exceptional circumstances and will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Pitch Description
A pitch is designated for “one touring caravan, towing vehicle and a two man “pup tent”.
Variations on this are permitted as we recognize not everyone has a touring caravan. If worried, please get in touch.
Each live-in vehicle must be at least 6 meters away from any other unit that belongs to another party, regardless of the direction.
This means that no two units should be closer than 6 meters to each other.
Vehicles and Ancillary Equipment
Vehicles and other ancillary equipment are allowed within the 6-meter space between units that are in separate family occupation. However, to prevent the spread of fire, there must always be a clear space of 3 meters within this 6-meter separation.
Our maximum single pitch occupancy is 8 people; including a maximum of 6 adults.
Exceeding this limit may infer additional charges for pitches or you may be asked to leave the site if we are unable to find an available pitch.
Failure to arrive on the booked date of arrival without notice. We reserve the right to cancel your booking (9am on the following day) and re-let your pitch. Any payment received will not be returned.
Discount codes for Friends of Maker Heights are for the named member and one guest for one holiday per year at a maximum stay of 14 nights (children are free).
